Can't get a husband/Can't start marriage
I've visited different lords and can't see courting dialogue option that I've seen in tutorials. All I can do is ask to bring our families together with marriage. None have spouses. Am I going to the wrong people? I tried Caladog and Luichan and couldn't get anywhere. Who can I marry as a female?

Someone who isn't married already.

Like I said, I've been to Luichan and Caladog who aren't married and there's no option to court them

Also running into this very same issue.
I have spent the better part of 7 or 8 hours attempting to find a husband. Chilling with about 30 hours played, on day ~600, 2m denars. I've made sure to use the encyclopedia to review their age/family and backgrounds, verifying they have no spouse/children. It's definitely not an issue of them already being married.

Are the men you are trying to court and marry lords who leads troops?

Some have been, I've also tried it with minor faction members and got no options. Looking at the encyclopedia the only men I can find are "Vassals of X Kingdom" while women are "Nobleman". Idk if this has something to do with it

So you're trying to marry into the royal linage? haha
Yeah sure the kings are just gonna marry a filthy peasant maybe that's your problem, aim lower like a normal lord and see if it works.

I've tried every lord I've come across so far. From what I can tell you can't marry male lords in this game.

However I just discovered some random nobody called Peric who governs a castle for the Vlandians. He isn't a lord but there's options to marry him. This is kind of ♥♥♥♥ though and defeats the purpose of marriage if you're playing as a female. I can't marry anyone who actually has wealth or even a decent family.

I think the solution is to download the gay marriage mod until Talewords update and make husbands better.

I've had that option pop up multiple times. is it dependant on renown/clan lvl maybe?

This is BUG for sure. I also encounter the same issue. Hence, I've checked with developer console that I am not suitable to marry any hero(neither gender), but I haven't get married yet.

I am having a similar issue. I can't even bring up marriage at all with any of the male NPCs. Has anyone reported this yet on LawH's massive list of bugs?

Okay so i found a round about way for those who get to the part were they have to pay for their mail ordered bride/groom

Once you find the head of the clan ask about the marriage once the barter screen pops up place an item from the head of clans inventory to the trade box then hit auto gift then BOOM there you go now go make some babies!

I get the barter screen but auto doesn't do anything for me, I tried putting in 5000 gold but the acceptance bar didn't even budge.

I'm trying to marry a clansman of Caladog, so I'm negotiating this with him. Any ideas? Am I just not giving enough money?

A Possible Solution:
You need the for this the - Developer Console - Mod.
https://www.nexusmods.com/mountandblade2bannerlord/mods/4

-In the Launcher, you tick the Mod, in the Mods-Menu
-In the Game open the console with the Combo-Key Ctrg+^
-Write the Command: campaign.list_hereos_suitable_for_marriage
-It comes a list with name, id and clan. (That is less than you think, a lot of singles are not listed there)

-Or the other way around: campaign.is_hero_suitable_for_marriage_with_player "name of a hero" (without the " " of course)

Hope its helpfully for you and sorry for the (maybe?) bad english :D.

You dont need mods at all to be honest all you have to do is grab an item under the clan leaders side (where his horses are and other items he is carrying) and place one in his trade box then hit auto offer it should work i think because your wife/husband is on your side of the trade its thinks your giving the clan leader the person to marry and not the other way around
