Perhaps you aren't familiar with how medieval hierarchy worked - but if you didn't produce an heir, your family claim to the throne died. Even if you were gay, you would still marry a woman, either to hopefully produce an heir or to tighten relations with other kingdoms.

Also, it doesn't matter if it was the year 3457 - not *every* group has to be represented in *everything*.

There litterly not a single church in the game so even if thats true its defintly not in the game and such a horriable thing.

I would have liked to see same sex marriages in this game and even if they wantted to make it agenst the norm in the world and frown on your a military leader u could fight them all for your ways and change things so its acceptable and if the nobles dont like it off with there heads =P

This is the real reason i think they didn't do it i have a feeling the developers thought about it and wantted to but with every thing going on in turkey and its politics they desided to not take the chance is my guess.

Such a shame too i'm a lesbian and I have no desire to marrie a guy even in a game and with the player aging system its uncomfurtable playing but hopefully they atleast disable where our characters die once they get too old or add a quest that lets provents us from aging or some kinda fountin of youth quest or some kinda relic we aborbe making us young and state that way in game but still allow the age number to keep going but we never die from the age and never look old.
