How do you get rid of companions?
I've hit my max count and I want to get rid of one to replace them but when talking to them in town I don't see an option to send them on their way or tell them I don't need their services. I know I'm being dumb, where's it at?

you can send them away from clan tab

you either can do what Stãffỷ50 wrote or you can go to your partymanagement screen, click on them, click on the symbol to speak with them and then say that you no longer need their services.

I cannot find a button or a way to dismiss a companion on the clan tab any longer. Has it moved? I tried talking to them but there is no option I can find to get rid of them. Anyone know what I'm missing here?

You need be out of city/village/castle. Then you speak with them via Clan menu, ask about their services and ask them to leave.

BTW take all their belongings before dismissing, that way you get to keep their gear and sell it later or whatever.

Thanks. Prior to release there was a big button on the clan tab to do this. Don't know why TW would remove that and make things LESS user friendly.

A search didn't reveal the answer you mention (not saying it's not out there, just that it didn't turn up), and those offered in this thread are no longer correct since release. So... what exactly is your point again?
