Difficulty, man or mouse?
Couldn't make myself play something else than everything set to realistic, feels like cheating if not.

What do you think about this?

whatever lets you enjoy the game, i play on lowest settings right now till i get used to the combat changes from warband and such, and figure out the economy and all that

I think children trying to impress random, anonymous, internet strangers with their imaginary prowess are kind of pathetic...and a little bit sad.

Play your single-player games however you like. If you want to try and impress me, you'll have to do something a lot more interesting than sitting around in your underwear clicking buttons.
It's hard to feel like anything outside of realistic isn't cheating after playing on it for a while in warband but at the same time theres nothing really wrong with cheating in this kind of single player game.

It's not because realistic is the hardest either, it's because all it does is take away the player having some innate advantage (well, on top of being a human).

Edited cause typo.

What are you talking about? Why would I care at all wether you are impressed or not?

Look what the other guy replied and then think about if you just made a fool out of yourself.
realistic is imo the way you should be playing if you want the real m&b experience but sometimes people just want to ♥♥♥♥ around I guess or need to learn at a slower pace than others so I understand why we have a easy mode, Will I play it hell no

I kinda like the forced increase in difficulty by removing auto-block. A win in the arena feels earned because of it and I am way more careful in battles, since I am not the blocking god anymore and rather avoid any fights on foot with a worse ratio than 1vs2

Realistic is the only way to go imo. You just have to know which fight you can pick.

Realistic full way through! Just make sure to spam archers so those pesky looters never reach you >:D

Nice try, Jimmy but your words are right there for everyone to see for themselves. "Look at me, look at me, I'm a MAN because I play this way, and you're a MOUSE if you disagree".

It's childish.

For your information, I've spent many years playing these games on high difficulty, and writing about it in these forums. I never liked "Realistic" because having the option to save my game was important to me. I've seen these kinds of comments countless times before, and always responded in the same way.

Games are about having fun, so people should feel free to enjoy them however they like. It's none of your business how others play their games, and you sound like a fool.

I like to challenge myself and I encourage others to do so as well. With this game, I lowered the difficulty one step while I learn what it can do. Later, I'll raise the difficulty to keep it interesting.

That's my choice, and it has absolutely nothing to do with being a "man".

Games have to walk a tight line between "enjoyable" and "difficult". If the difficulty ever stops feeling fun, change it.

ummm , you realise that the 'realistic' option doesnt block savescumming right? Also, you are really blowing up a small/ nonexistent problem, if he posted a post with the name 'edgelord or normy' and asked who always put the edgiest looking armor, would you also go cry about how he 'tries to get attention' or whatever? He plays on the hardest difficulties and asks what other people think about that, he literally only started a conversation.

Why exactly are you telling me now that you played some games on a high difficulty? Do you want to brag about it?

Man or mouse is a saying, that's why I chose it. How do you think anybody would call himself a man because he plays a game on realistic?

Realistic doesn't change the way you are able to save a game.

Anyway, at least you managed to answer to the topic.
