EDIT: For those who read this I am not saying this game sucks or is not fun. I just believe looking at prices and what is available now there is much more content to be had in warband than here is in bannerlord right now.
@Big Balls I have no intention of returning it and am pretty eager to see how it develops, but with how hot it makes my video card I think I'll give them some time to optimize it a bit better before risking a burnout on a binge or two (I play a lot when I do).

I mean look at popular grand strategy franchises such as CIV or Paradox games, how often does their core gameplay dramatically change? It makes sense that the core M&B experience is the same.
What? It has every feature that Warband vanilla has plus more and many quality of life changes (battle continuation etc.). What exactly is missing from Warband vanilla?
There are some QoL upgrades and a couple of new systems but to me that doesnt justify the price or length of development even slightly. Such a shame i was so hype.
Right now i dont see any reason to purchase this over playing warband
