Am woman, how get marry?
Playing a female character and having a real hard time figuring out how to marry people. All the male lords I talk to are missing the conversation option, and all the guides I can find are geared towards male characters. Is it even possible?

Perhaps it's possible via the gay marriage mod on the Nexus mods place. I'm not sure either, I also play as one.

Have you checked that they are single? Check the Encyclopedia (N I think). Find them, check their family. If they have a spouse, they can't be married. Assuming it works the same as marrying a woman.

My character is a woman and I offered my hand in marriage to a lord. He said he was flattered and he would like to see more of me. That's the last time I saw him.

Pretty sure offer your hand for marriage is there the last time I played my Irish girl... Are you sure you are not asking a married man to marry you?

So what you need to do.
Go to any town or castle and enter the keep or view the tab for the keep.
Once you see a few npcs check to see if they are nobleman, if they are keep waiting there and doing quest for them if you want to better your chances(no idea if it helps)
Now this nobleman will not move from that castle or town so you can grind stats to improve the chances when you ask for marriage or simple save and keep trying for each phase.
Its a 3 step process, pass phase one and two then get permisson from his clan head to marry and done.
Carry him in your party if you want to have kids.

Playing as a female, found a Sturgian lord part of the royal family, he was single. You can ask such a character to offer yourself for marriage, they will wanna see more of you, I only had to visit my lord twice and succeed some speech checks before we got married. I presume if you fail the speech checks you have to visit them an additional time to progress with the relationship? Can't confirm if they eventually give up on you but that's all I know thus far.

I can confirm this, You just need to keep visiting and passing speech checks until you get married. And if they are single, as others stated.

I've been going around talking to lords (and ladies, installed the gay marriage mod) who are all single. Been hunting them down both on the field and in castles/towns. Still no option to court them.

Well, since you use mods, I cannot help you, since they can make the marriage feature function diferently than vanilla.

Maybe you were not exotic enough. My husband said, that we would make a strange couple and not that he is flattered. I only needed 2 conversation where I won him. Then had to ride to his father, pay money and done. Some males like "strange" women :P

My main character, a man, died of old age. His wife became my main character, as the kids weren't old enough to play. Took her up to Sturgia and got married to a Sturgian vassal same way a man courts a woman. But she (me) is still not counted as part of his clan! Still got my old clan title, and my rotten Aserai kids who are probably bullied in the north. Just a trophy husband?
