This is just speculation but maybe he is gone for good. I tried using the encyclopedia to find my brother and it reckoned he was in some city and I spent over an hour looking for him but he never showed himself. Perhaps Lucon is in the same situation since his faction was destroyed.
Just speculation and I certainly hope it isn't the case.
I've found that information to be more misleading than helpful.
What I do when searching for a specific person is save my game, go to the place he was last seen near, then keep checking for the new update to see where he went to. If I don't find him there, I reload and just head him off. This doesn't always work since it's a dynamic world, and even npcs can change their minds it seems?
I had an impossible to find lord in my game as well (so impossible that even cheating couldn't find him time stays frozen while teleporting). The way to deal with it is to go talk to a different faction since they give you other lords to chase down for the info instead.
I also have this issue and no way to speak to him he is my last lord too not sure what to do.
Just to clarify, all I know so far is that if I click on the Kingdom button, and then click on my leader's portrait, I can access the encyclopedia. The npcs page has information at the top left where it says "So and so, was last seen at X".
That is the only information I am aware of. I'd appreciate it if you could explain what you're talking about.
"Last seen at" does not mean they are there, it does not mean they even went inside, it means someone there said they saw them...perhaps riding by? It could mean they stopped in, sold some prisoners, bought some grain, and left immediately?
This was a standard part of playing Warband. There are hundreds of threads about it in these forums. In that game, when this happens, the player can try to break the npc out of prison, besiege the town to set them free, or simply wait a while until they are released/escape on their own. I don't know how this game deals with such things but I'm willing to guess it is very similar?
