With that installed, there are tons of new options to mess with the game.
Just tested "campaign.change_hero_relation 100 Adram" and it worked perfectly.
You can also change your relationship with any faction making them be at war or peace with you instantly. Merc contracts though....go check it out.
there is no savior editor yet but here is good editor in game
As to the merc contract, I don't remember if it has always been this way, but for MONTHS at least, you can back out of merc contract, no problems. join again, back out again, no problem. Join their enemy, back out. Rejoin them again etc...
No penalties. Not sure what need there is for a save editor. Seems like a FOOLISH mod to me. (mods always have the chance to cause an issue, and this mod isn't needed since you can do most/everything with the cheat codes). Boost stats, Boost skills, Raise prosperity, give troops, give money etc. And the nobles thing is maybe the easiest thing in the game to do legit (just let them go). Not to mention give them decent gifts etc...
If you aren't going to response constructively then don't bother at all. Instead of saying L2P you could actually answer the question, describe how to raise relations, or link to a reference that does one of the aforementioned. Stop being a troll.
l2p Ain't a cutdown. If I go to Fortnite, and cry "Hey why Can't I kill dudes, this game needs a hack, or a mod".. and someone says "What gun are you using? have you tried the rocket launcher?" and I reply "Ummm, what do you mean guns? I gotta buy one? Errrr, whats a rocket launcher?"
Seems pretty basic, eh??? I am making a request that has NO NEED to be implemented, because I need to l2p.
As for nobles. I not only outlined it in the post above you, that you quote. But, I also included it here too. so I did "answer the question, describe how to raise relations"
in game release, you could give nobles 1 denar over and over. and get them to max relation. It was patched, You can also give them weapons (sometimes still can, but it is rare) that raised relation. Can pick a perk that has a chance to raise relation, can't remember when it was implemented, but long before the guy who necro'd this thread today.
Currently, fight, capture lords. release. You can easily do this legit 2-3 times per lord every war. That's 24 relation per lord per war. And it is COMMON. They in your faction? no problem, vote WITH them, in decisions. Help them when they pounce on a looter. hang back until an enemy attacks them, then jump in. Give them gifts. Give them DENARS (but way more than the 1 that was needed at game release). Etc.
Summary, there has ALWAYS been ways (in fact, more ways when OP made his post than there is today iirc) to raise relation. If he didn't know, and 4-5 other people DIDN"T KNOW (which is understandable first couple weeks of game.) It isn't the Game's fault. it doesnt need a "mod to fix" It needs a player to know what to do. I.e. LEARN To Play the game , and your problem has a solution.
If it DIDN'T have a solution (as multiple diplomacy issues, lineage issues, quest issues, underpowered troop issues etc.... ) like is often the case, then I can see wanting a mod to make it so other lords use their children, or you can finish a certain quest etc.
But. if there is a cheat code, to "bring the Sturgian Noble Line, more equal to others" (there isn't) than yeah, it doesn't NEED a mod. You can cheat code it in, until devs fix it, or don't.
Overall. I stand by my statement, If someone says "smithing doesn't pay enough, we need a mod to make it better", I'd also say "L2P Smithing is OP as all get out, currently. it Doesn't NEED a mod to make more cash. You need to learn how smithing works"
~cheers
At the time of OP, leaving a merc contract was the same as renouncing vassalage which is a pretty substantial hit to standing with *every* member of a faction. Theres no easy way to recover that much reputation with that many people. I dont recall any easy way, infact, to gain substantial reputation with any party iirc you could fight and release, or do missions as the only reliable way to get rep and even then missions were spotty.
