Read the title more carefully. I already have a party led by a companion. What i dont know is how to order them...
Yes and now you open the kingdom and click on the army tab. There you click on Create Army. In the menu you select your compangion (the easiest way to do this is to sort by cost, because your compangion troops are free). Then you confirm this and leave the menu. Your companion's troop will then join your army and you will ride together in a formation.
Orders like "attack the village" cannot be given to him, as far as I know.
