How do arrows work?

This may be a dumb question, but I couldn't find the answer in the encyclopedia, in a search on this forum or on the net. My question is, how do arrows work? I can't seem to find any to purchase, and I seem to have a certain amount each fight. Is there a set amount for each fight? If so, how do I increase the amount?

My experience, and the way they worked in previous mount and blade titles, is that arrows come in Quivers / Batches, as items in your inventory. They go in a weapon slot, and each slot filled with a quiver is good for a certain number of shots in your kit when you go to battle, depending on the item type. Thrown weapons work the same way, with the exception that the 'quiver' lets you attack, rather than needing a separate weapon to launch it.

They are not consumed in any way, refreshing to full between battles. If you're having trouble finding more to add to your loadout, make sure you're checking full size town/cities, not little villages.

so you can buy arrows that you can put on your character in the inventory screen.

they have a stat called "Stack Amount" which is how many arrows they carry into battle.
so you could buy 3 sets of arrows that have 27 Stack Amount each for a total of 81 arrows carried into battle. (of course at that point you sacrifice having any weapon but your bow so a decent compromise is 2 arrows a bow and a melee weapon of your choice)

there are a few perks like +3 on horse or +2 on foot but idk how they work with multiple quivers
