As i read about the recent bombings in Turkey and I thought of the failed coup attempt. And the crackdown on rights still happening. I realized I am a bad person because my first thought was I hope this does not delay the game anymore than it is. Not on the loss of life or liberty to the Turkish people. Am I the only one.

Now I am not there but the crackdown seems to be mostly against secular proponets. From what is printed here. And let us not get into the whole isreal thing. As for the PKK that is formed from the fact the british broke up the ottoman empire without looking at ethnic tribal lands and Iraq, Syria And Turkey have always been less than fair or just to ethnic minories. ISIS was formed by a combo of things mostly a backlash by islamic fundementalists against a false percieved represion because they ere denied the right to deny others there rights due to religous beliefs.
To many in the West Turkey represents the hope that a country with a majority of Muslim population can act in a way that can be civilised in the treatment of other religous groups. And show some that being islamic does not mean your enforcing an unjust Shia law agianst those who chose to believe diffrently in God or Gods or no God even. That someone can claim to be both Muslim and a member of a diverse humanity that encompasses many believes.

But talking politics totally derails a lighthearted thread mocking my own selfish indiffrence to the plight of others in my own multi year thirst for this game.

simple answer to the problem,move Taleworlds to the UK or Germany,Poland,if they have not already relocated from the Muslim arm pit of Turkey,could be the reason for the black out of the blogs

Dont make a fool of TW. If they dont sell Bannerlords they wont get money, and cannot pay the employes, and eat.
I think, if a minimum chance of "politic" problem in Turkey, can DELAY the game release or work in it... They will move without esitation.

What I'm going to say is truly sad but unfortunately this kind of normally extreme things became to be seen more normal than ever in recent years. Unfortunately we learnt to live same everyday life even when things like these happen. So I doubt they will affect release unless something happens to company or someone working there.

What do politics have to do with the Gaming Industry? Taleworlds isn't holding any government positions nor producing any critiscism towards the turkish government.

They are dealing with bugs and game development.

No the terrorist attacks and the coup did not halt the game development (maybe for a day).
