Yeah, i think im gonna do it, but i wait for optimization cause gtx 1080 stays pretty descent nowadays.
But im so addicted to this game, than, if i need to go on a rtx 2080 to be confortable with max settings on 1440p during solo battles with hundreds of warriors, i'll do it without hesitation.
Does 5700xt handle ray tracing ?
Yep, and the less we could say is that there is some work remaining on this subject for Bannerlord development team
At this point, that's no more a computer... that's a war machine
It could be sufficient but there are those regular drops at 25 that make it difficult (generally it comes when there is a lot of warriors at screen with massive contacts)
Jupp, many warriors at the screen lead to massive frame drops. But it is somehow not the Cpu that gets limited because the fps are higher at a lower resolution with the same amount of soldiers. So something from the soldier animations eats away Gpu power. Maybe the cloth animation or the reflection from the metal armor. And 4k also eats away way more than it should. At 1080p I get nearly 200fps in some scenes, while in 4k I only get 50-60fps max in the same scene. Normaly 1080p to 4k should cut the fps in half, not quarter it. So to all these who are playing at 1080p mid range computers, it is not the same as in 4k. So no wonder you get decent fps.
SSD of course. We are not in dark age anymore ;)
Yep. Last drivers installed.
I think you're right, the solution will probably come with new drivers.
I think it will be a close collaboration between nvidia/amd new drivers and taleworld's updates
