how to do a shield wall

Grab some shields and some mortar, glue them, one over the other, in rows and columns and there you have, a full wall made of shields.

On topic: No idea, but maybe there is in the formation menu. Not all the units would probably do a shield wall. Sturgians for sure.

If I remember correctly the formation button is f3 and it will show different formations including shield wall.

Yep F3 then F2 (for the beta)

It doesn't work with all types of unity

I think it makes a line for every unit, but yeah, you need shields for the shield wall.

Effective shield wall requires larger shields too, narrow crap like Kite Shield's won't work.
