probably not, I assume that they'd be modded in, Testudo (Tortoise) would probs come with a rome mod or something

Testudo = Shield wall? (Tv show shieldwall, not VC or Warband)
Shield wall is on the game i think.

the Testudo isn't a sheild wall, what happens is the front rank put their sheilds up then the ranks behind put their sheild above eachothers head interlocking them and creating an archer proof formation, hence the reason it's called Testudo which translates to tortoise because it resembles the impenetrable shell of a tortoise

Well we already got those but not very good. Taleworlds could make putting shield above your head that would be useful. The phalanxs all you need is to stop that fake swinging above head and do a high and low attack. Also put it into brace using x.

Phalanx? What year is it? That thing's been outdated forever, even at the time of the game.

So why in the 17th centaury did they use it loads.

Testudo would also be largely outdated I suppose.. on the other hand, it beats "The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥™" hands-down, which seems to be one of Warbands most popular formations

Spears simply don't work in M&B games the way they do IRL. IRL you would have your spears out and the enemy would not want to go within 2 meters of your shield wall because all the spears poke them. In M&B the spears don't actually fend anyone off, and you can walk up to the shieldwall with your shield up and get so close the spears become useless because the enemy is too close to use them properly

Only one i care is Pike Square. I wanna see cavalry units dying after they rush into spear/pike wall.

You're referring to pike formations, which more resembles Macedonian pike sarissa phalanx instead of traditional hoplite phalanx. The hoplite phalanx was outdated by the time the Roman Republic began its rise. Romans ditched their hoplite phalanx in favor of more flexible manniples.

Because they were no more shields.

They still used shields a bit and they didn't fight in legion style on the renisence.

Not wiedly but not having shields wasn't the main reason to use pikes.
