I personally think this is a great idea. They could integrate amiibo as well. Then 300 figures later you could have a really formidable force.

Just get a regular console if you want to do Bannerlord on a console. aka PS4 / Xbox One

On a business standpoint it probably wouldn't be a neglected idea. That's not to consider all the criticisms that would follow into it.

I personally wouldn't mind it either as long as it doesn't delay or further lengthen the release date for what i consider to be its primary platform, PC.

They can't even get it on PC

If this would get ported to the Switch I'd be so happy. Even with the necessary downgrades it would be epic :D

their engine is 5 - 7 years old, it should work fine on the switch, in theory

They remade the engine, it was said enough times already. That's one of the possibilities why it's takign so long.
Nintindo will probably ask them, they're trying to get more indie games and computer games on their console. Only if it releases soon enough though, and there is the chance the switch could never run it.

Yeah but it would still require downgrades. The Switch is a good and fun console, but technically speaking a little weak for a large-scale sandbox.

The battles would need to be more small-scale on the Switch due to memory-limitations.
i did not know that...
I don't know, breath of the wild ran fine. it may not handle thousands but I'm sure it can handle VCs max at least.

In BotW you don't have battles of hundreds vs. hundreds though. The requirement for processing-power and memory is a bit higher for that kinda thing, it doesn't even have much to do with graphics for example.
