It's not the same gameplay right ?

Like Kingdom Come has a great deal of narative if i'm not mistaken ? (I'm not interest in the game, but i'm interested in Bannerlord so it kinda answer your question, people who likes Bannerlord wont necessary like KC so no need for them to be worried.. plus people can buy two games.. especially if they are in the range of 30-40€).

10 hours of story vs 1000 hours of sandbox, speaks for itself.

Yeah they are completely different games, so they don't compete with eachother.

But, they are both medieval games. And they can over-saturate the market. Remember how many ww2 games there have been?
They are literally completely different games with nothing to do with the other except for story.

Two game won't over-saturate the market. They might start a trend but M&B is a famous franchise now, they are like the Battlefield of Medieval Sandbox (Or even sandbox alone). They dont really have any game to compete with or at least none I know. (or think of right now).

Bannerlords, Kingdom Come, Mordhau, For Honor? Of course people can get tired of medieval-themed games at some point, I'm asking where's the limit? Don't take this as me saying the market is over-saturated with medieval games already, that's not what I'm arguing.
Floyd.dev Nov 30, 2017 @ 10:43am
No because they are two diferent TYPE of games.

I doubt they will really compete for market share but people will certainly be comparing the two when (if) Bannerlord comes out - "lol, look at the animations, it's like RTS units slapping each other whereas you actually interact with the enemy's mesh in Kingdom Come." It also doesn't help that Bannerlord doesn't look much better than the knockoff games that are being pooped out onto Steam on a monthly basis.

kingdom come's combat is really bad rn

Sorry but first person camera on a medieval fight... Not working.
And as i said, different type of game.

KC> Rpg medieval sanbbox with semi-linear strong history. Not so much @re playing on that.
So, it will be forgotten as For Honor in little time.

BL> Also an rpg sandbox game, without a linear story, 100% sandbox it is. Combining elements as real time Strategy on the fields, and kind of that on the map. Economy, politics, and many other factors to take in account. Not just a good story of some Knight as KC.
And oh yeah...THE MODS.

How old Warband is??More than 6+ years right? and it is stil being played today. Stil being bought on Steam, and very much alive community stil developing mods for it.

No. Taleworlds is not worried at all about KC. Bannerords will be a success. A 8+ years success tittle. (More powerful everything, and more powerful c# modding languaje :D)

For Honor is much, but not forgotten. I predict it will gain cult status ,like R6 Siege, during 2018. It gets new content like R6 and has a nice community (if you overlook the salty 12 year olds).

It seems to work really well in Mordhau, have you seen the hitbox porn?

I will play both. :) KC has some very interesting selling points, mainly historical accuracy, multiple ways to solve quests that may differ drastically and AI.
