Securom/Denuvo DRM
Can the developers confirm if this DRM will in place? I have seen reports that Taleworlds have been in contact with said company.

There is a growing community of people who boycott such practices, as this can cause problems with modding and future functionality once Denuvo is no more.

As much as I cannot wait for M&B2, I will unfortunately not purchase it should it contain said DRM. There are plenty of other games that do not use such dubious DRM that are more deserving of my money.

Taleworlds is free to do what they like with their game, but I write in the hopes that they do the right thing.

I too just read about this on Ars Technica, and would like to know if the Developers have news on if this Denuvo's DRM is going to be implemented for M&B 2.

What does it matter when its crackable now. Buy the game, crack it, play offline, problem solved. You can use cracks with games that you buy.

But paying customers end up losing out with a crappier locked down product.

Show me the crack for Total War: Warhammer. Protip: you can't.
Crackwatch has Total War: Warhammer as cracked, the problem is finding which torrent has it, but it has been cracked, nonetheless.

Maybe you miss understoon what I said. I put in caps the important bit for you.

BUY THE GAME <--------- Then crack it, play offline.

I crack a lot of my games so I can play offline completely without loading Steam up, depends on situation I am in.

Completely irrelavant to this. Total War is not Bannerlord. Bannerlord is Bannerlord! Nobody but you mentioned piracy. I talk of cracking it only, not torrent, CRACK. Also Total War Warhammer is cracked, and yes I own it too.

What the hell are you talking about? I own Total War Warhammer and can play offline just fine.

I don't understand why you want less protection. Except if you want to "crack" it(or pirate to tell straight).
Sorry show me where I said it could not be played offline?

I said I own it, this is one of the game I have not got cracked, some I do but I could not tell which ones off the top of my head. Why would I need to pirate it silly, I own it here in Steam? Also that is not aloud. Its not about less protection, it never has been. Intrusive DRM only hurts people like me who buy the games. When a game has this type of intrusive DRM usually the situation goes something like....Playing your game you paid for, lose internet connection by freak of nature and lose progress in game, now cannot play at all.

Nice chat, cya later.

Just a question. Why the h*ll DENUVO?!?!?! Why to Destroy the game with that piece of Garb*ge???

I just read in Denuvo log file that YOU Vishnu Vijayakumar, at 2016-02-17 13:39:26, had asked about the Denuvo. Why are you doing this?

If this game is going to be Denuvo c*ap - then I am definetly NOT GOING TO buy it.
