Have deleted all my prior saves also.
So I can`t start it again. I will have to start again from the begining I guess. May be a glitch because the beams are aiming at the walls instead of the statues.
It causes the light beams to be way off and pointing at walls instead of statues.
At that point you can`t solve the puzzle no matter what because beams aim at walls only!
What happens is that you basically have statues that are out of sync.
I solved mine by changing all statues to yellow. keep rotating until you get the first center light to show green on the chest. from there you can work out what statues are out of sync.
At least this worked for me. because you know when all statues are yellow and you have rotated them into showing a green light. the symbols on the side of the chest tells you which of them must have sun hitting them. So then you have to adjust the 3 other statues accordingly no matter what their sign might show.
Tried to record it hmm. seems like Nvidia shadowplay doesnt like to record this game.
That does the trick, and you saved me from having to start all over again.
I want to thank you for your awesome help. You Rock !!!
hehe you are welcome sir. :) sometimes the mind works in mysterious way, or i just get lucky when i refuse to give up.
I was in the same boat as you, i would have had to restart entirely, that was simply not an option. and from here on out, im making an actual save every time i change day. because who wants to risk that we hit puzzle with a bug we cant solve.
Totally don`t ever want to ever get into that state again.
Whooow, glad to have another chance to do it right.
Regards
1 - turn all lights yellow.
2 - spin the right cog until one middle light turns green.
3 - spin the right cog twice
4 - spin the left cog twice (change to red I think)
5 - spin right cog once
6 - spin the left cog once (change to blue)
7 - spin the right cog once
8 - spin the left cog twice (change to red)
9 - spin the right cog until the puzzle is solved
