Day 5: Maze puzzle in test area

I am doing the puzzle where you have to go to the upper left corner starting from the bottom right one without going diagonally as well as having to alternate between the two different symbols.

I am just three steps away from making it but when I make the next move I hear an error sound and the puzzle resets - the issue is I don't know why. On paper, the solution is correct. I also still have 53 out of 72 moves left when that happens.

You might need a slightly tighter solution, since you'll need 53 moves left for the second half of the puzzle.
