Error Loading "Tiny Font"
If i freshly install the game it works absolutly fine, once, then it launches no problem, but wont load into a game. I get an error about failure loading "Tiny Fonts".

I have searched and searched and cant find a fix.

Running Windows 7, no Anti Virus to worry about, have installed XNA from the install path, still having the same problem!

Check if you have "TinyFont.xnb" in the game main installtion folder.

I do, reinstalling the game seems to allow me to launch it again but again only once

Yes, I ran them from the game folder, all fine, .NET 4.5.1 didnt install as: .NET Framework 4.5.1 RC or a later update is already installed on this computer.

How old are graphic drivers? Is it a hybrid laptop?

Bang up to date, using a brand new GTX 980Ti (MSi 6G Gaming)

is there a way to avoid needing to load the Tiny Font file? Change in resolution etc?

I'm afraid you can't avoid the Tiny font.
You can change the resoloution if you edit the file named "Startup.ini", but you'll always to have the Tiny foint as far as I know.

I have this error as well, trying to load a saved game.

OK I got it to load by letting the intro run into the story telling intro and then clicking out when I saw the planet and ships loaded and moving.

Maybe it loads the font for the intro or something but fails to find it to load for the save if you click past it. Just guessing.

Hi, same problem here. In my case i was only able to launch some tutorial (but NOT the first time i launched the game), but the game works only occasionally. Have tried to: reinstall MS XNA, run as administrator, run as compatibility (XP), enfroce bigger font size OS-side, wait during the starting video.
