How to deal with space monsters at early game?
Those beasts roaming in my solar system, i assembled a fleet of 15 of my best ships
and ordered to attack, it appears as if the fleet refuses to fly as a whole,
instead, 1 or 2 ships jump to the monster each time and die.
I then ordered the fleet to patrol the home planet, yet still other ships
(i guess the system defenders\patrols), jumping one by one to the monsters and die.
I had 3 commanders, lost them all in less then a minute, just because they jumped
alone against the space monsters...

So now im stuck, i lost my fleet, i keep building and loosing system patrols one by one..
And space monsters roaming in my system destorying stations...
And if that is not enough some independent faction keeps on attacking me,
they sabotage my buildings, killing my sientiests, and send attack ships against my
constuctors that flew away to distant system to build mines\stations.

Idk, maybe im doing something wrong, but the battle system appears to be broken...

That is just about the most annoying fight in the whole game.

I guess your issue is that half your fleet got warp drives and jump, while the rest don't have warp drive and stay.

My suggestion. Number is guesstimated...

Pause. Book 6 new escorts.
Open the ship list (button at top). Filter military ship. Sort them by firepower, and hopefully your 0 strength (unbuilt) escorts sit at the top.

Select them (ctrl click one by one, or mark the top, shift click the bottom one). Use pulldown to add to new fleet.

Nurse this fleet so that no single escort finished before the others heads off. Wait until all 6 are built. When they are, send the fleet to attack the nasties one by one.

You can try to micro manage the fight a bit, notice which one is targeted, and have it kite the creature while the rest shoot it...

You can go before shields are ready, creatures bypass shields.

Bingeling makes very good suggestions. Space creatures are such a PITA that many veterans of the game disable them upon game creation. They really don't add much to the experience to justify the headache unless, of course, you're a masochist.

I think the space monsters are fine, but the initial spawn with no warp is a newbie and AI trap.

If you're talking about the giant kaltors, there is a cap to their max speed which is like 35. Just design a frigate that is faster than that with decent maneuverability and set it to engage at stand-off range. You can kill all the space monsters with a single ship.

If you have multiple ships, when you see the Kaltor going after one, tell that ship to run away on sub-light while your other ships attack.

I play with space monsters on the highest setting for added difficulty.

Thanks ill try it out!

In fact, I have a specialist frigate design that I use following that design principle called my Exterminator class. I keep a handful in a "pest control" fleet. Any time space monsters are discovered, I just send that fleet into the system and they'll take care of it.

Please note that the ship behavior settings in the Options menu tree will also help with this. I think the initial issue was most likely related to a mix of FTL and non-FTL ships as well. You can also set newly built ships in your Options to not be automated so that they won't respond to threats in the same system automatically as soon as they leave the space port.

Research increased construction size as well to help your ship designs.

This is one of the reasons I don't think starting in pre-warp is super helpful for new players as many automated things look like a broken game.

Meh i killed all the space beasts with 1 scout... he was faster then them and he just flew
around them while shooting, and the beasts couldnt do anything.
But anyways, after a while huge numbers of pirates poped up in my systems (had like 4),
and started to destory everything... my 8 ship fleet couldnt handle them, it was a quick death..
I wonder why the AI havnt asked (suggested) to build more military ships...
Can it be because my income jumped from negative to positive every few seconds?
And my overall treasury was at about 7 to 10k?

I picked a race that got big xenophibic issues... it ruined my trade and relations with pirates...
