Please fix hitting the ball

Anyone who hits the ball automatically gains an advantage, due to

Being in control of the ball
Spammable
Ridiculous hitbox

He who hits first, laughs last. Devs, if you can read this, please make hitting the ball fairer. I lost a game recently to someone who did not do anything but hit the ball and I then lost my 20-win streak. To a hitter. At least give it less speed, or any sort of hit box. If it is not fixed, I may stop playing the game due to this.
