Koharu Gigolo Mission freeze

Everytime I attempt to do the Koharu gigolo mission my game freezes. Anyone else having this problem? :/

I confirm this works but it reverts 60 fps mod to 30 fps.

The freeze also happens to me too before or after "winning" the heart of Koharu, and to everyone else who has changed the settings to play at 60 FPS. It freezes randomly during the scenes of that level. The only way to fix that is to revert the settings to the original by default (the locked 31 FPS), launch the game and complete that level and then you can change the modified settings to play at 60 FPS. That's why it's important to keep a backup of the original files. Everytime you want to play the Koharu level you need to change back those values to play as originally intended.

Some say that changing the Compatibility Mode of the game to Windows XP Service Pack 3 also works and avoid the hassle of changing the settings fiiles, but I haven't tried that, so I can't confirm if that method also works.

I have tried using Compatibility Mode: Windows XP SP 3. I had to restart the game 3x after freezing but on the 4th try I was able to finsh the date succesfully. I'm using altered .ini settings for 60fps w/o any kind of smoothing.

AMD FX-8320 8-core CPU
XFX Radeon R9 270X 2GB graphics card
Crucial 4 GB DDR3 RAM

An additional thing to try might be turning off Steam Overlay.

i passaed the level and the config reverted back to 30 fps i cant seem to achive 60 again no matter what i do.
ive tried to delete the file and start again, tried deleting the files, even downloaded the game again anyone knows what going on help.

Or you could tell us the fix is to set the game to 30fps......

rather than make us download a suspicious file and give you money for no reason

If you find the game keeps reverting your settings, remember to set the config file to read-only so the game can't overwrite it. :D
