Steam Deck: Why marked incompatible?

Hi guys
I've been playing this on Steam Deck for a few hours now and so far have run into zero issues... in fact in runs a whole lot better than on my PC.

Has anybody run into any issues? Or did the tester think mistake the ramp shader for a bug? ;)

They're trolling you. This game does not work on my steam deck past the first combat scene and it's the same with my friend's Deck

No one is trolling anyone. There's some fixes on the PCGamingWiki you can try. I think the multicore issue is Windows-exclusive; the 3rd fix on the wiki page (the one involving the ini file) fixed all crashes for me.

Most of my hours logged were on Ubuntu via Proton.

It may likely work on Proton and other machines running on Linux but I've tried everything listed on that website and this game constantly crashes for me on the Steam Deck.

It crashed on me too eventually... my guess is that it simply worked because my save point was at a good point where I could progress for quite a while before reaching a dead end.
