About Sarah, Clementine's New Friend..

Who thinks she's gonna die a horrible death?
Knowing how many characters died in Season 1... I'd say it is safe to assume she's going to get tagged. And then get headshotted by Clementine (or whomever).
Personally I think she will be a nice friend to Clementine. So here is hoping that she will survive past episode 2.

What does that have to do with what I said? You can't "teach" a disability.

Well, the way you worded your statement suggested that it's her father's fault for making her to appear to have a mental disability.

I was nice to her, but it had nothing to do with her innocence... she had what I needed, and I saw the friendship route as the best way to that. Though as Skippy said... I did freeze up at the pinky swear... was hard to follow through with that.

Not saying that I will betray her, I'll probably continue to be nice to her, but unless she shows some redeeming qualities in the next episode I may just cut her loose if push comes to bite.

I see her as a mix between Clem and Kenny as far as gameplay is concerned. She'll probably be along for the long haul and need protection and education from Clem. Just as Lee was to Clem, Clem will be to Sarah. However with the starkly contrasting options of "Ok, I'll be your best friend!" and "No... We're not friends..." I feel we'll be dealing with this relationship with this girl for a long time to come. Much as we were with Kenny.

Weird as she may be, she gave Clem a chance even when she had every reason to scream Bloody Mary at the trespasser. Someone willing to give a stranger that huge a benefit of the doubt is either very good at seeing into people's hearts or is a complete fool. Either way, Clementine was once as kind as Sarah currently is, and it's not like Clem to take advantage of others (but then again, a lot has happened that could've changed that, I'm just by the route I took), so it's a good idea to repay such unwarranted trust with friendship.

I'm not out to use Sarah, as strange as she seems, I'd prefer to not break the pinky swear no matter what.

The real conundrum for my viewpoint then is how Clementine shall balance being a friend to Sarah while keeping to Carlos' good side. I have no doubts the future shall have me choose who I hurt the most. We'll cross that bridge when we get to it though, eh?

I got the same feeling, something is off about her. I also think somewhere down the line she is going to do something to harm Clem, even if isn't intentional.

Im not attached to Sarah, really. I only made Clem become friends with her just to get the medicine. Dont really know why, but she just annoys me how she just has a better life than Clem. She has her family, and care, and medicine, while Clem was stitching her own wound in a shed, which adds another thing on her list of being traumatized. So, wont really effect me if she did, die off. But, most characters go, so yes, Sarah will probably.

What made me wonder is how her dad told me to stay away from her even though I barely spoke to her and said no to becoming friends in the first place. Which I did because - yeah - she is giving me the creeps.

i don't get it anyway. on my first playthrough i tricked her by being frinds and told her not to tell her father to get the medicine. in the conversation with her father everything seems fine except that he tells me to stay away from her cause she's somehow special.
the second time i refuse the friendship, played with open cards, didn't tell her to lie to her father and the outcome was that he tells me he is not trusting me and being even more agressive...

I think Sarah is mentally handicapped. There are some signs for this theory. Carlos said his warning in a special tone.
But Sarahs perceiption isn't the best. She didn't recognize the age of clem and thought, clem was her age.

But i am not sure.
