The game keeps crashing

I'm sure this has come up a bit, but my game keeps crashing. I keep getting the ".exe not responding" error anyway to fix this ?

I'm getting the same issue. In which episode is your game crashing? Mine keeps bugging out in chapter 3 of Episode 5. So far, I've not really found a way around it.

that's the exact same spot mine is crashing. Always when I'm talking to Jane.

I can progress in the game it just keeps crashing right into 30-40 minutes of game play

I'm having the exact same problem too. In chapter 3 Episode of 5 when I offer Jane a rum and then the game keeps always crashing and comes with white screen too.

Although I understand this isn't feasible for everyone, it was crashing on my laptop (a max resolution of 1350x650 or whatever) but when I went to my desktop at 1600x900 it worked fine. On my laptop it kept crashing at lower resolutions than that too, but if there were a way to increase the resolution it may have worked. Sorry if I can only offer anecdotal advice.

I'm on laptop, I had the resolution at the highest, but I lowered them and the textures, It still didn't help.

Check TT website, there may be a fix. I had problems with season 1 suddenly not working that had actually been caused by Steam and I found the fix there.

Nevermind, I solved the problem. If the game crashes verify integrity of the game cache, that worked for me. Thanks for trying to help though.

Yes, I think thats one of the things they recommend trying first.

Sorry, I never kept the bookmark. I just went to official site and looked through support and forum pages searching for keywords that related to my problem.

Glad you found the problem, this is a pretty good game, would be a shame not to be able to play it.

Glad you found the problem, this is a pretty good game, would be a shame not to be able to play it.

Yeah it's a great game, just finished it yesterday. I'm very excited for The Walking Dead: Michonne and Season 3.
