Anyone else kinda wish it could've been Kenny vs Luke like originally planned?

Yeah, don't get me wrong the finale was still good but ever since episode 2 I was expecting some kind of choice to happen between Kenny and Luke. I was really suprised when I found out Luke was unsaveable , honestly I think my choice in the end would have been a lot harder to make if Kenny was fighting Luke, sorry Jane fans, i never really liked Jane...

(I heard that it was originally going to happen until TellTale found out about some of the "Cuke" shipping *not sure if this is true, if anyone could confirm that would be nice*, if that was the case then i don't really understand the point of changing it, people could easily also ship *ugh* Clem with Jane or *dear lord I think im gonna be sick* Kenny...)

Yeah seemed kinda weird. The entire season they were narrating this "Kenny Vs. Luke" Kind of thing. Lukes death really suprised me.

If it was a Luke vs Kenny Fight I think it would've been a harder to choose between them. We only knew jane for what, 2 episodes? We knew luke since episode 1 and kenny since s1 ep1, they were very developed characters while jane's personality was very bad in my opinion. I wish Telltale would've added it instead of the jane endings but, it's telltale we're talking about here.

Kenny vs Luke would have been 95% Kenny dead since most arguments against Jane are sexist nonsense.

It would have been more interesting if it were somebody who wasn't obiously evil for 2 seasons instead of Kenny. Somebody in the hub suggested Luke vs Christa. Christa in Kenny's place and with a similar character arc would have been a much harder and more interesting choice for me, either vs Luke or vs Jane.

I think it wasn't the "Cluke" thing I think it was that some people wouldn't shut up about the leaked choices that nearly no one heard about and then it got switched and when the choices for episode 4 got leaked Telltale did nothing and I don't even know what the scenario would be if Luke lived, because Bonne, Mike, and Arvo wouldn't betray us, Luke would never try to kill someone to prove a point, and I don't even know how the fight would start if anyone finds anymore info about this I'm curious and would like to know.

Yeah... it was always planned as it currently is. The whole 'Cluke' thing etc was just a rumour because someone apparently hacked the game and found unused audio files... yet, the audio files aren't anywhere to be found as evidence to proove it.. without hacking the game.

There was a file that could be found in the games directories though thats used for choice tracking that showed the choices for episode 5 before it was released (I'll point out that this was the exact same for Wolf Amoung Us for instance), and the choices as listed there were the same as the choices that are currently in game.

So as said... it was just a rumour that someone made up and gave no solid evidence for, but people who couldn't be bothered doing all of 2 minutes research believed it.

The audio file proves the existence of said audio file. It doesn't however provide information on anything else.

I doubt they canceled it just because of Cluke. People are gonna ship people no matter what, which only like 3 people shipped them. If thats the reason then thats kinda unfair :/
I wish Luke survives, hopefully someone came by and saved him....?

I think they half assed Kenny into S2 for this very reason. He had a heroic death, and they went and retconed it. So honestly, I wouldn't find it surprising if next season we find Luke and Christa rocking massive beards.

Nothing was retconned considering there are clues at the end of season one regarding his survival and months before even episode six was released Telltale stated his fate would be explored. Kenny never died in season one.
