Steam Deck / Linux : importing saves from season 1

Copying the saves using this command in the terminal (or in the case of a Steam Deck, running konsole in Desktop Mode) corrected the issue for me.

cp -r ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/207610/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/My\ Documents/Telltale\ Games/The\ Walking\ Dead ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/261030/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/My\ Documents/Telltale\ Games/The\ Walking\ Dead

I can't get this to work, I've tried what's suggested but it's still not finding anything. Any help?

Alright, a few notes.

1. You should run both games once BEFORE running the command and/or copying the save files, to create the required folders. Also, be certain (in game) the save is in Season 1 before attempting to move the save to Season 2.
2. The directory is different if you installed to an SD card or some other external storage.
3. If the command is an issue, you can copy from one folder to the other manually.

Thanks a lot! Worked like a charm. Not easy to do in steam deck desktop mode, but it works.
