The preview image for episode four sort of suggests they may have involvement in episode four but I'm not holding out much hope.
It was nice to see Bonnie as a mayor character and the cameos, I never expected more really. I wished to see Nate eventually.
But you've got a point. They did introduce two new characters and had them join the group so why not two 400 days characters? They would have to join Tavia no matter what but I would prefer it if that meant seeing any more of them.
I understand that people are frustrated that the 400 Days characters aside from Bonnie didn't feature for more than a couple of seconds, but that doesn't make the story of it pointless. Just treat 400 Days as another look into the WD universe and how others were coping, not a central part of Telltale's TWD. Besides, it's very likely that Eddie from the dlc will show up in a larger role too.
Yeah....I am with this....that said would have been interesting to see more interaction with Clem and the young girl from the diner. That was the one story thread I would have appreciated them revisiting in more depth. The rest stand fine as cameo's on their own....also....whose to say they won't next episode. IF they *didn't* come to camp they might still be running around...but they would not have shown them this epsisode. Agreed though that survival doesn't look likley for members of the camp who did go all walker blood.
About time, I saw Vince in the "next time on The Walking Dead" video right after I finished episode 1 and yet no sign of him but I saw the others that went with Tavia.
Vince - Ok, that i kinda get, he already showed some of the (sometimes neccesary) "leave those who REALLY wouldnt make it" and "shoot someone" ways in 400 Days.
Wyatt - Here i dont get it, he seemed more like the "nice and friendly buddy" type of a guy, even some kind of "caring" if you choose to help that guy in 400 Days.
Russel - Also seemed like an ok-guy. Also he was offended by the whole "kill these folks and take all their stuff" things of his former group and Nate. How come he now seems like a way more "cruel" or at least "cold" boy?
Bonnie - Ok, she always seems to be a bit unstable at mind and such things, i can understand why she is "blended" by the thought of Carver having a good reason for everything he does.
Shel - She seems like she is the only one who kinda stayed how she was, a normal girl who tries to deal with the situation.
And at last: Tavia - Sorry, but i kinda dont buy that whole "cold attidude" thing. For real, we were introduced to her as a caring woman with honest thoughts / emotions. Hell, she even outright said "we dont want to force you living with us" and "you just have to follow the rules" like its just "come by if you want, but be nice". And now she is serving under carver like that, pulling of the "old hag that is grumpy most of the time" number, going as far as to not saying a word about that whole "revenge / getting the people and forcing them back to our group / kill those who are weak or dont want what you do" thing of Carver?
Not that i want to say bad words about Telltale, i really love TWD and TWAU. But i kinda got the feeling that in this episode they just tried to somehow get the 400 Days people into it so you see them without thinking if they are integrated "the right way". Like i said yeah, people can change, but espacially the way Tavia turned out to be seems way to far stretched for me.
Vince didn't feature in the episode two teaser.
I agree with your points here. The only thing I can think is that some thing (Or things) significant happened to transition them to colder personalities (example: The last heard and whatever disagreements Luke and Carver had on a 'vision' for the camp). Russel looked significantly Older...so a great deal of time has passed and events in a post apocalyptic world likely have a way of changing people. THAT SAID....I found the Governor from the TV show to actually have some Charisma....Carver....I'm not sure what it is that would make anybody follow him and agree it is the weakest point in the episdode. The never sold me on why anybody would follow carver....as my Clam told him "You're a Bully". I don't follow bullies.
