Why people hate kenny? QQ

I dont understand the hate for kenny? Just because he has a wife n son?
That he holds and loves dearly, and in a scarey world of walking dead corps
wanting to rip u and ur loved ones to bits and pieces, can you honestly say
for a fact you would never make a mistake or a misjudgement? He seems
good now hes recovered from his family in a way of moving on with a new women.
He called clem duck, and I gasped in real life, then kenny....cause you know I
dont blame him calling me duck, because his son was alive and well when clem
was in the group together with Kenny his family Lee n the others in the old group.
I know I would call someone else a different name by mistake or thinking my kid
is still alive too, having someone around from my orginal group while not thinking, etc.

Hes a pretty strong moral man in reguards of not ending his life he still carries on in life.
Since he says he was alone with just his mind for a while until he was found and all.
You get that old sense I guess having clem back around, being happy shes alive n well.
If you replay season 1 ep 1, save duck then try to save shawn, you get points for both lol.

Can you say if you have loved ones lives in your hands, you wouldnt wanna trust or be
nice to someone who hasnt saved them, protected them or feed them when u has it.
Plus when there in danger not taking out any possiable threats or anything at all? ETC

He's an ass, he turns on you the moment you disagree with anything he says. For example I decided to refresh myself by watching a lets play a little bit ago and it reminded how much of a jerk he was.

For example the player was incredibly nice to Kenny, helped Duck etc etc and Kenny even says he won't ever forget it and then they don't help smashing Larrys head in he turns on Lee for the rest of the game and just won't drop it and plays the victim, acting like Lee is the bad guy for not supporting him with it lol. I think my original play-through was similar and it just bugs me the way he acts towards Lee and everyone around him who wasn't his wife or son. Not to mention how big of a hypocrite he was...

If Lee points out to Kenny that Clem is family, Kenny will help. That's the only way I got him to help.

Also yes, this reminds me of another big one for me. In my game I wasn't all that horrible to Kenny and I had to *convince* Kenny to help me rescue Clem. He carries on about all the apparent "bad" things Lee did to him, like it should matter. We are asking him to help rescue a little girl and he is worried about some petty spat he and Lee had.

He *seems* to have been ok to Clem so far this season, but I'm definitely getting his old "my way or the highway" vibe from him which I don't like. At this point though I'm more worried about him snapping and killing somone though lol, he seems on edge.

In the first game he was flakey, unreliable and often times judged people before exploring all the reasons someone would do something.

In the second game he is fan service, and should be dead.

Those are my reasons.

It is because he has zero loyality. He is one of those people that you save his life and he goes, "Yeah but what have you done for me recently?" What? Saving your ass twice in the last two months wasn't good enough. He is a real jerk.

See, now here is my beef. I *was* nice to him, helped his son, gave him food etc. Heck I even let him killing Larry slide and didn't get on his back about it, but he was still a jerk to me. He would still get mad at you for silly things and forget all the good things you did for him.

I think it really depends on how you play the game, I mean if you agree with him in most situations, his more....argumentative side doesn't show as much.

He is no survivor, he is an alcoholic, he always makes poor decisions (even now taking in season 2's group), whenever Lee did something right, he disagreed, he killed a person (!) (an other's family member..so much for the sense for family + no moral in case of the car that was left behind, the greene's son etc.) and last but not least: actually he died (yes, he died, there was no way out of the alley, scratches can zobifie a person and the place he fell, at that very moment, was crowded with walkers, so no escape possible).
I would prefer to have lilly on my party insted of him. at least she just killed the person that made the ongoing story easier to produce for telltale (just kidding ;P)

He didn't die. The situation has very low odds but one that it was still possible to survive. The last you see of him is a scene which can be interpretated either way. However that is your interpretation which isn't the same thing.

Speaking only on season one - He only cares about himself and puts others in danger because of his lack of thinking. He just acts and continually screws things up. If you do every single thing for Kenny except ONE he never forgives you for it - he is incredibly petty like that and throws tantrums when people disagree with him.

On season 2 - he is now insane and even more dangerous to a group.

I have a question for everyone or more of a think first example, If me and you are in a group and I am not nice to your kid and wife, are you gonna be so sweet loving and kind towards me? I am sure you WOULD be JUST like Kenny, unless your more forgiving or want to keep the groups numbers up. Would that not make some sense there?

I think the most of the people who are hating Kenny is because he didnt helped back then at the farm. But you are right i would kinda do the same if this would be my family, somehow different but i will kinda do the same.

Of coursse thats not who I am but its an example for kenny.

Hold up there. I hate larry but are you saying you would abbandon everyone who is going to be a nuisance? Like needing some pills or Insuln if yes you made a enemy :D.

I wasn't fond of him in the first season and actually preferred Lilly. The way the game is structured is that you're stuck with Kenny and can't choose between Lilly and Kenny like you could with Carley and Doug. Lee and Clem made that game for me, I hope S2 is equally good or close enough by the time E5 is released.
