If you're right about birthing it and leaving it to die, i don't think it'll be mentioned, as it is very likely that Christa is dead.

I don't think it was dead, it would be stupid to kill someone offscreen.

The baby clearly died off-screen. Christa is most likely still alive as they are unlikely to kill a character off-camera.

I meant Christa dying of screen, the baby wasn't really an important character, so i understand why he/she was killed offscreen.

Either Christa had a miscairrage, the child died due to lack of food and weather/environment, or somebody even took it from them. There's also the possibility of it being eaten by zombies, or people. Like The Road.

Miscarriage is the most likely event to have happened.

I don't see it as particularly important for Telltale to clarify but it did pique my interest somewhat :)

I think Telltale left it up to the players' imagination, as a whole number of horrific things could have happened. Who better to pick the most painful one than the viewer? :P

Personally, I believe it was a miscarriage. If not that, then it probably died shortly after birth.
