The Walking Dead: Season Two

Why is Clem being treated like an adult?
Alot of times in Season 2 Clem had to do many over the top things that a 11 year old shouldnt be doing, even in a zombie apocalypse. In season 1 she was treated her age, she wasnt forced to do anything eaither. So being a year older completely makes her get acted like if she was an adult? Im not talking about Kenny's group doing this, but Nicks group tends to do this alot to Clementine.

There are like what.. 4 other capable adults to be doing half of the ♥♥♥♥ Clem does in season 2? Can they not do anything? Or what about Sarah? Why does she get treated like how Clem SHOULD be treated, and just gets to stand there?

Kinda unrealistic..

Doesnt mean ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. A 11 year old shouldnt be risking her life when there are other adults. Season 1 seemed much more realistic, its starting to loose its touch in the series.

As Telltale said from the very start, this game series is based on the comic and anyone who knows the comic, they know Carl is around the same age as Clementine. At the very start of the comic series, when he was only 8 or 9, he shot and killed Shane, and then when he was just a year older than that, after the prison attack, his dad totally passed out for a long period of time and he had to fend for himself and take on a lot of adult responsibilites, they did this in the show as well but in the show Carl is closer to 14. Then later during a a zombie attack he got shot in the face and lost an eye, but he took it like a man, and several months after that he snuck into Negan's camp with an assault rifle and gunned down several of Negan's men, and this is a kid who is only 11. So is it really that shocking that in the game that is based on the comic, the 11 year old in the game series is also taking on adult responsibilities. One of the big hints that Clementine has lost her childhood was when she finds the dog and searches the campsite and finds a doll. The way she looks at it for a moment, one could easily assume it reminded her of being a chila dn the way she just discards it, one could assume that's her knowing those days are behind her.

As for the show, Carl, Lizzy, and her sister, whose name I can't remember, have all been treated more like adults than children. That's just how things would work in their world, there is no time to be children when you have walkers everywhere, men like the Governor, Negan, and the cannibals, etc, and so on. Carl is one of my favorite characters in the show and the comic because he doesn't whine about losing his childhood, he actually enjoys having adult responsibilities, and Clementine is turning into the female version of him and I'm 80% sure she'lls survive season 2. As for her being in Season 3, I have no idea what they'll do in Season 3. How do I know there will be a season 3? Telltale would have to be mentally challenged to not continue the story since the Walking Dead is showing now signs of slowing down.

However, I wouldn't be surprised if Activision doesn't do a sequel to Survival Instinct, they just missed the point when they made that game. TWD's popularity does play into its soap opera like storyline and the Telltale game gets it right, the show gets it right, but Survival Instinct botched it and just made a generic first person shooter that featured the most one dimensional character in the show. The Facebook Walking Dead game is better than that piece of crap.

She presents herself in a strong manner and asks to be treated that way. During a time like this there isn't really a place to treat someone just like a child, they need to grow up and understand how dangerous the world is.

Although in saying that there were a couple of moments I had to laugh where they pretty much just threw her into it. One was where they asked her to check that station on her own, an *entire* group of big burly men and you ask the small girl to check it out on her own? Second, the wind turbine, they look at it and don't have any idea what to do, but hey leave it to the 11 year old girl she should get it done. It just makes me laugh; this group is kind of useless for the most part. XD
You don't even own the game

Because she is the playable character in a videogame.

In the zombie apocalypse, People have to grow up fast and take action.
If episode 1 was a year of Clem surviving alone Michonne style, I could agree with the way Clem is treated.
Clem is the way she is because of Lee, she watched every move he made, saw how he was diplomatic at times and knew when to take charge, and she does the same. Those she's currently with however, we have to remember they were part of Carver's community and probably were somewhat sheltered. I mean I'm sure they've seen horrible things but I don't think they've had the same exposure that Clementine has had.

It's hard to tell what where she'll go after season 2 though, I'd still like to see her end up at one of the communities in the comic but that isn't likely since while the series is based on the comic, Kirkman hasn't shown any interest in adding characters from the show to the comic, so I imagine he has no interest in doing so with the characters from the game, which is a shame since I think Clementine would be great in the comic.
No one noticed Sarah nearly getting a panic attack when Carver came to visit? I think Carlos is being so over protective because she tends to get panic attacks easy, no way she could fight walkers or anything, even when she gets older. I think it's silly to compare Sarah to Clementine.

And as others have said it already Clementine has proven herself.

why they treat her like an adult?

she can see ded people lying on a near river bench. - Nick/Pete can't.
she can shoot a zombie's head. - Nick can't.
she can lift herself from the ledge of a bridge. - Luke can't.
she can find christmas ornaments that are petty well hidden. - the resident woman can't.
She can switch off a windmill. - a whole group of people can't.

I would also ask her to fight a zombie army while i take a long bath.
Clem seems to be a lot more "mature", level-headed and capable than most of the Adults I've seen so far for this Season.
