Stealing the medicine question...
OK!!! so I chose not to rob that guy with the medicine bag and leg him go, then later he says "You are th eones who robbed me"... did I miss something? Is there any point in not robbing him if he says you robbed him anyway? If you steal the medicine can you stop the babys mother becoming sick and dying? Do the choices even do anything? :(

Nope, arvo will say you stole and rebbeca will die no matter what you choose.

Unfortunately this game often gives the illusion of choice.

No, this is one of those instances where there really isn't a choice because the narrative won't allow one.

Though technically, Jane did steal the guy's gun. So it still makes sense that he would say you stole from him.

Ughrrrrr so frustrating.

the choice to rob him or not is a moral choice
there's no illusion your either a bandit or not
don't look for every decision you make to change the game
ratter look for how it changes you.

It's pretty cringey for me. "I wont rob him" I distinctly remember clem saying.

He still threatens your group, but I still feel better about my choice. It's basically the same scenario as with the Stranger. If you chose to have Lee refuse to take from the car, the Stranger still accuses you of stealing his stuff. Arvo is the Stranger in this situation, as he still accuses you of stealing his stuff, even if you didn't.

Although plenty of people have pointed out that Jane DID take Arvo's gun. That and somebody in another thread mentioned that Arvo looked like he was trying to hide the medications. They compared it to Ben hiding his medicine to help his group ward of bandits. I believe Arvo was probably hiding excess medication for some reason or another, and then blamed it on Clementine and her group so he wouldn't be the main target of anger.

I digress, it is still similar to the situation with the Stranger from season one.

I really think Telltale just made it a little unclear- I'm almost certain Arvo was himself stealing those meds, and just pinned it on the group he knew was nearby. It'll probably be cleared up at the beginning of the next episode.

I wondered that myself but then why would you have the choice to reply that it was Jane that stole the medicine, not you?
I never saw Jane steal any medicine when I chose not to take it... I wondered if the game had messed up my save file or something because it seemed so weird to me otherwise.

its Never properly explained but here is what happened with Arvo.

Arvo and is sister were traveling with raiders and when you stumbled across him he was making an attempt to escape by hiding the medicine.

Jane and Clem do more damage then they think when they take his gun as Buricko and Vitali notice it is missing when he returns and this tells them there is a nearby group to raid.

Arvo and his sister are forced into ambushing and robbing you even if you chose not to take the medicine.

This ambush fails and your group draws your guns leading to a shootout that the Russians did or intend to start. The plan was to catch the group off guard and take everything they had.

Due to your group drawing their guns on the Russians Natasha and Vitali start to consider withdrawing however Buricko opens fire and forces the shootout.

Buricko was trigger happy and he wasn’t in the apocalypse to survive he was in it to kill and this was likely the reason Arvo wanted to get away from them.

Just listen to Burickos translated voice lines it’s screwed up the things he says.

Vitali was likely making passes at Natasha she wasn’t comfortable with as He was devastated when Kenny killed Natasha but didn’t give a ♥♥♥♥ when he was about to kill Arvo.
