So can you save him? (spoilers)

I got too choose between covering luke or helping him when he partially falls through the ice. I choose to shoot the zombies who were closing in and as a result luke died drowning. Did I make the right choice cover luke instead of helping him? Would he survive then?

By now you should know that you really can't save anybody. If Telltale wants a person to die, that person dies, no matter what.

Was gutted I liked Luke.

Luke had one of the saddest deaths in the walking dead. I kept smashing the ice, it wouldn't break and he slowely fell into darkness.

Does it make a difference if you shoot the ice rather try the break it by hitting it?

I liked luke. I was furiously smashing the ice too save him after he went down under. Bonnie did survive somehow. Go figure that out

This moment pissed me off so much, I acted as you cause I thought my weight would breal the ice but that idiot Bonnie went to him and screwed everything up and after all she BLAMES ME FOR KILLING LUKE. And even more to that - why Clem is listening to all these blames? Why can't I tell her like "You are in responsible for Luke's death, sonovabeach"?
