However, there might be an evidence that she is dead. When you go to the River with Nick and Pete, one of the corpses appears to have a model that greatly resembles Christa, but with a different jacket. Nonetheless, Clementine won't comment on it when you inspect that corpse, she doesn't appear to recognize the corpse as Christa, so who knows.

that's what I thought, But I'd assume dead because in Episode 1 after Omid Died, Christa and Clementine making a fire, Christa walks off and you can see her get Stabbed with a Wooden Spear and aditionally hear her yell "Clementine Run!"

If I recall right, it depends what you decide to do. If you warn her, she runs off successfully, but followed by the group.

Pretty sure you hear a gunshot when Clem starts to run. A good sign that she got shot and killed

Since Lilly returned there could be a chance that Christa might but it's kind of unlikely. Depending on what you do when she gets caught by those scavengers, she'll either get stabbed in the leg and tell Clementine to "RUN!" or she'll run in the opposite direction of Clementine but then when Clementine runs away, you hear her scream and then you hear a gunshot which could imply that she was shot/killed off screen. Idk just a thought

It’s possible she is still alive that entire group was not dead.

That black guy who points the gun at Christa and says “cut the ♥♥♥♥ lady” wasn’t among the corpses.

I mean, just hearing a gunshot hardly means anything. For all we know she wrestled a gun from someone and she fired that shot. Or someone shot at her as she ran and missed, that's happened plenty of times before.

We simply don't have enough evidence to even begin to say either way.

I think that she is alive if Clementine distracted scavengers. We never saw her get killed. Maybe she got wounded but fight back and run away.
