USING AN XBOX CONTROLLER ON THE GUN GAME

Ok, I'm sure this has been asked and answered before BUT, is there a way to play the GUN game on steam AND use an xbox controller? I've tried setting it up in Big Picture mode but when I launch the game IT STILL will not recognize my xbox controller. So, any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

ok I will definitely get one then. Now that being said, did you have problems with an Xbox controller before getting the PDP one? I looked at the controller and I guess I'm curious as to what is the difference between the PDP and a genuine Xbox controller, and why the PDP would work and not the xbox

I'm having the same issue. The controls are mapped for my controller but the game won't respond to the controller. It says its formatted to my Xbox PC controller but that's it. Is there something I need to do to "turn it on?" I've done all the trouble shoots and still nothing. It thinks its an Xbox 360 controller.

It worked perfectly for me UNTIL I REMAPPED THE BUTTONS. Now it doesn't work at all.
It's my fault, I refunded this last year because it was broken and I was dumb enough to buy it again to play with an XBX controller.
