Worked! Thanks !
Well at my first try it dindt work, I did it like 5/6 times, and after i restarted my computer it was running. So i dont think you have to do it 5/6 times. But try restarting the computer
This worked for me too - the dev needs to add this to the setup because it plays fine after repairing this file. Thanks Celina!
1 Installed on Laptop.
2 Ran game - Not working.
3 Ran Repair on Physx. Ran Game - Not working.
4 Ran DirectX setup / vcredistx86 and Phyysx again. Still not working.
5 Verified files. Not working.
6 Repeated step 4. Still Not working.
7 Gave up and Installed on main gaming PC
8 Repeated steps 2 to 6. Still not working.
9 Swear at computer repeatedly.
10 Go to steam/steamapps/common/Emergency 2014/Bin.x86 and ran em2014.exe
11 Works fine. Loads to menu first try and 5 repeat attempts.
12 Place shortcut to this on desktop. Works fine.
13 Go back to laptop and try step 10. Works fine.
14 Retry game through steam and origional shortcut on both computers. Not working.
TLDR: There appears to be an Issue with the steam shortcut. Try going to steam/steamapps/common/Emergency 2014/Bin.x86 and run em2014.exe it might work using this. A shortcut to this file also works for me.
PS: I am running windows 8.1 64bit on both devices.
did you really delete it from your whole PC??
I did that also once, but it does not really work
