How much is the Remaster gonna cost?
Like same price as if it was a wholly new game back at the early 2020's?

Yep. I appreciate that it isn’t zero effort to migrate it, but can’t help but feel like it’s also a cash grab. I loved the original but probably won’t buy the remaster.

$9.99, half the price of IV1

Will there be a small loyalty discount for owning both games?

Also, will the DLC come with IV1 achievements?

i discussed the possibility of a discount like that with the publisher, and long story short Steam doesn't do that for less-known projects like Intravenous, apparently

idk an explanation like that sound weird to me as much as i'm sure it sounds to you, but i literally can't do anything in this regard

achievements will not be ported over, as Steam does not allow achievements added by DLC, and by having these achievements it would mean that non-owners of the DLC would not be able to get 100% completion (perfect game)

Thanks for the reply.

Bummer. I've got all achievements in all 3 IV games and was looking forward to "reliving" the IV1 grind. I hope you reconsider your stance on it, but I do respect your reasoning.

Considering hes making it half the price of 1, I think hes genuinely trying. It seems more like bureaucratic / clerical issue than him being unwilling to give a good price.
Десять долларов...А какова будет цена в рублях?

10$ = 900 руб.

Well, that is a challenge - we need to make IV better-known project! :lunar2019grinningpig:

The price is OK though, so I guess I will need a break from playing KCD2 tonight... maybe even tomorrow too. :duke:

Personally, I would prefer achievements for the DLC to be added to IV2 to be unlocked by playing DLC as I only use achievements to track what I have already experienced/achieved in a game. However, I know and understand some gamers do care about 'perfecting' games by getting 100% achievements and some of them would be unhappy about losing 100% with the release of the DLC, so I understand the decision, no big deal.

So this DLC will not include the entire campaign of the first game for that price?

Oh that's amazing your post on march 1st made it confusing for me because you said it would only be two levels.

the post refers to the free prologue project called "Intravenous 2: Mercenarism" which was available before IV2 launched, and has now been added to the base game for free, not the DLC

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I didn't mean any ill intent when I said that. You had the remaster linked to that post and I assumed the prologue project was the remaster. So that was my fault I'm sorry about that.
