Level Editor Tutorials
grasping even the basics of the Level Editor can be a difficult task, as making a level involves interacting with many different parts of it

for the purpose of teaching people the basics, and fast-tracking their familiarity with the level editor, i will be creating level editor tutorials

Level Editor Tutorial #1 - The Basics
https://youtu.be/z4eFIimIdJE

Level Editor Tutorial #2 - Influencing Stealth & Combat and Vent Shafts
https://youtu.be/d1kcL09IUiM

Level Editor Tutorial #3 - Cameras, Keycard Doors, Dumpsters & Sprinklers
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKWg__RNbQQ

if there is some particular part of the level editor you'd like to get a tutorial on - please leave a comment in this thread and i will tackle it!

First off, thank you so much for this, 2nd, Cutscenes. both kinds, and how's and why's and stuff surrounding it, even stuff like music and how to create a few examples. 3rd a "idea" of good level design patrols, building size and ♥♥♥♥ in it. 4th, how do i word this.... The "do's and dont's of making levels and cutscenes." 5th, more "advanced stuff" like LUA modding and lights and tech like smoke alarms and other ♥♥♥♥ like it. My idea for this whole set of tutorials your making is to mimic the Hotline Miami 2 tutorials to some extent, of course with your own spin. And i guess, 6th, A breakdown of a level from start to finish, cutscenes, showing off the level editor's full capabilities. Thanks again. I'll add more if can think of any.
take your time with this stuff, this ♥♥♥♥ is bigger than alot of level editor's, no rush.

Really happy to see a tutorial series, I brute forced my way through a lot of the basics, while it was in beta, i had a lot of fun.
I’m just struggling with “linking” two level’s, for example, having a multi story building, if you could eventually explain this in a tutorial, it would be much appreciated.

Also, game is gem! Thanks!
ah right, did forget a few things. Creating campaigns, persistent levels, buying gear and skills long term in said campaigns. that sorta jazz. Again, will add more if i can think of any.
Again, take your time. But here's just a few for now. Offlimit poly stuff. pedestrain's in general. and Follower NPC's.

don't worry guys, more videos are coming, i've been busy patching the game, and also life got a tad busier lately, so i wasn't able to dedicate time to making the videos!
W work king, maybe add a pinned comment on your current stuff. Not everyone is gonna check steam forums for updates

I disagree :(
Oh man: I'm actually really into two different games that have really strong mapping tools.. and I wanna know both. Door Kickers 2 is a nice companion piece to IV2.
You've been very busy i get it, the demo campaign and the remaster have taken so much time. Now that stuff is winding down ( i hope ) hopefully you can get back to getting these videos out, again no rush.
Hoping to see some more tutorials soon
