Slugs will give you less spread but plenty of power.
Birdshot can be handy with the duck bill, but the other types of buckshot are also very effective.
Normal shotgun shells are also commonly found on dead enemies, so it is simpler to just stock that and get used to how it handles.
Im trying to adjust to using Slugs considering that the pen is really good but the explosive sensation that the normal 12 g causes on cqb is undefeated
i just didnt learned how to use properly the other ammo types tho
Birdshot is best with the duckbill. It turns corridors into death traps. Only downside is less damage, but it still seems to do enough damage to be incredibly lethal.
The other buckshot is kinda 'meh' in my opinion. It certainly works, but I see no real reason to use it over normal buckshot.
Rubber Beanbags are best for stealth. A silenced Remington 870 is a rather quiet knockout machine that gives you plenty of KOs before you're out of ammo.
Slug rounds if you wanna one-shot people.
