New Player - start with IV2 or IV1 remastered?

Hi all,
I've just bought the IV2 bundle that includes IV1 remastered. To learn the game am I better off playing IV2 first then jumping into the remaster after that, or the other way around?

iv2 has the better tutorial
imo you should play iv2, then iv1r, then iv2 in new game+

Brilliant, thank you. This is exactly what I was wondering, whether the tutorial content in IV2 would be more comprehensive.

Good to know. I got IV1 when it came to steam and haven't played in a while but just got IV2. Excited to play

Strange, i do not have that option at all. But i did purchase both IV2 & the DLC at the same time yesterday. Do i need to unlock something first or complete IV2?

Problem solved now, i re-installed & installed again. Suddenly that option appeared out of the blue.

I started with the Remaster and the tutorial was fine as well. Can't really go wrong here.

Can you help me out with the recent discussion post on NG+ and unlocks? Slightly confused with the unlock system. Not sure if I have to start an entirely new save and play the campaign a 3rd time.
