Controller support?

I Wonder if the controller support is as bad as the first game? Because I bought it and it is unplayable..... The target line is so bloody fast and if you slow it down you cant kill stuff in the other direction....

in 1, I found you could make it ok if you made aim / not aim swap between twinstick type control, and scrolling the cursor some. That way you could whip around quick, but still mostly target precise. I don't know if its been altered much from before though
