Should I play the first game or can I directly start with this one?

Do I miss something, when jumping straight to this game or should I play the first?

My initial plan would be playing this game, and maybe after that, buy the first one. But now, I'm not sure anymore. Seeing, that both games are connected?

Because either I buy the first game or I buy the support Pack for the second one.

Play IV2 first.
IV1 and IV2 are connected but you don't need to play IV1 to understand the second game.
And besides, IV1's campaign is getting a port to this game as cheap DLC in the future.
So you best buy and play IV2 first, and then wait for IV1's campaign port DLC.
And finally, you may buy the supporter pack WHEN you enjoy the game's soundtrack.
As it is very much worth it.

Spy is remaking the first game by porting its maps and remaking them. It'll be a DLC, so it wouldn't be a bad idea to try out IV2, then see what Steve did before through the remade IV1 levels. I liked IV1, but IV2's net positives made IV1 obsolete in my eyes.
