IV1 and IV2 are connected but you don't need to play IV1 to understand the second game.
And besides, IV1's campaign is getting a port to this game as cheap DLC in the future.
So you best buy and play IV2 first, and then wait for IV1's campaign port DLC.
And finally, you may buy the supporter pack WHEN you enjoy the game's soundtrack.
As it is very much worth it.
Well, in the meantime, I just got the whole bundle, games are good, and the dev deserve the money. :)
