Though seriously being able do any action while prone would be seriously overpowered.
+1
The first one was decent but disappointing and this one seems the same way tbh. I am thinking of grabbing it but if it's just more of the same I'll be disappointed
A statement above said the caveat being you can't move while aiming in prone. You're still going to be vulnerable if you open up on a couple of enemies and they start slinging lead your direction. I think this needs to be added. I've had this thought since the first game, and I'm glad to see others are on this train of thought as well.
Beyond that, coding this SENSIBLY would be kinda hard, I think, since its not REALLY 3d space, so you'd have to make bullets originate from the floor "height", and hit stuff like window sills and desks, but also MAYBE shoot over them, if aim is right? just seems like a pain to code too, in a sensible way, that isn't frustrating. And if you didn't code it something like that, you could effectively hide behind a window and gun from prone behind a window like it was a pillbox.
