Mission 9 bugged

Hello, I have a very annoying problem: in mission 9, when the guard is supposed to notice the prisioner and warn the boss, he doesn't go looking for the horses, and never warns the boss. I have no other saves in the mission so I wanted to use the mission skip cheat since I have basically already finished it, but the cheat menu won't come up!

relauching game may help. if last save is before u took prisoner.

Unfortunately I quick saved after succesfuly taking the prisioner, since it took me like 5 tries to do it before

u sure you taked all the horses??

Be sure to have taken ALL the horses to the valley.
If you cut the prisoner lose before you've taken the horses, the guard will notice that and the mission fails.
So first the horses, then the prisoner :)

Yes, I took all the horses. The guard doesn't even notice the prisioner is missing.

currently it is being a real douche right now as the mission stands i cannot knock out even the first guy , as the second guy immediately notices guy 1 missing and runs to camp if i get guy 1 and 2 and sleep guy guy 4 runs and tells . i cant sneak and knock out any of them they have adjusted thier ai so they run and alert the boss if they notice a guy missing from his patrol . where before they just went looking for the guy then went back to thier patrol

I'm about half way through this mission (I hope). At first I thought of it as mission impossible, but if you watch the timing (and the vision coverage, and not worry about killing the bad guys), you can gradually get to the road across from the campfire. Hint, use Kate as a lure occasionally. That's where I am stuck because I cannot get access to the horses, which is, according to the other hints here, necessary before freeing the prisoner (I have done that twice, but when I do the mission fails...because the horses have not been moved yet???
