Changing resolution

Is there anyway to change the resolution? I just got the game and the resolution it's using won't allow me to see the whole screen even though I know there's supposed to be some buttons to save or something. And please don't say change the resolution from the .exe file. I run the game from in steam, not directly from my compuer so I don't know how to get to the .exe file, assuming I even have it. All I can find is a url it is supposedly running from.

ok, so after digging Ifound the exe file. ticked off the use 640X480 box and tried the game again with the same issue. Can't see all of the screen. I can see the bottom of the save and load buttons but that's it, the quite button is hidden and after turning subtitles on, they are appearing cut off along the sides and bottom as well.

There is no way to change resolution, 640x480 is the only resolution you can play it. It's quite an old game and has an engine that does not support bigger resolutions.

I had the same problem. I'm running Windows 8.1. When changing the properties of the .exe file to "Compatibility mode for Windows XP Service Pack 2", the resolution didn't change, but at least now I'm able to see the whole screen. Hope that helps anyone.
