Chips are only used to play the various games in The Four Kings. You can use the RP you've earned in games to purchase clothing in the stores, and yes as Vinyl mentioned you can purchase items for your avatar with real money in The Crown Jewels.

But can those items also be bought ingame without wasting real money at all? Oh and since you're of the devs.. are you ever going to optimize it? i've tried several different solutions but i get quite low framerates on a Titan X.. especially when more than a few people are in the lobby area. I get as low as 30 fps.. which is in no way acceptable.

RP items and Real Money items will always be seperate. RP items act more like rewards for playing the game.

And yes we are always working on optimization and stability and like all MMO's we'll always be working on those issues. Thanks for the support and feedback :)

Isn't buying chips the same thing as using real money to gamble? I do that now when I go to Vegas.

In Vegas it is different as you can turn those chips back into real money and make a profit.

Hi Bunny -- as this is a simulated experience that in no way provides any cashout option, it is not illegal in any state. All games are played for fun and no winnings are paid out in cash.
