How many hours roughly is put into getting VIP status. I got 40 hours in so far about 64%

Depends which games you play, how much you bet, and how lucky you get. It can easily be done in under 12 hours.

Video Blacjack I found to be terrible, Blackjack is decent on max bets (especially with split/double) but isn't very efficient unless you are alone at the table. The only machine game I ever did good at was Keno.

Poker is great if you are good at it, something close to 1000rp a win.

I believe the weekly challenge gives you a flat 1k rp, but I don't exactly recall.

I'm 37% way and have less than 20. I also play heavy Poker with my friends and at real Casinos. I also love BJ and Bingo.

I will ntoe i did pay for $10 worth of chips to begin with, so i might be a little biased.

Correct. I am at 57% after about 180 hours in Steam(my real play time is probably around 100 hours) and i mostly play Blackjack with smaller bets. Really slow unless you are lucky or pay money and max bet all the time.

I think poker looks like a fast way to get VIP. I won 4 out of 5 matchs lastnight and got nearly %80, with a few rounds of BJ too.

The rate at which you earn RP is dependant on how much you're betting, so if you're betting max you'll earn it a lot more quickly than if you're betting less. Poker and Bingo are good ways to earn RP if you can win a few games. Blackjack, war and roulette are more steady-burn games. Slots or video poker are pretty good if machine games are your thing.

Its possible to earn VIP with any game, but some are a little more erratic.
