bad frame rate or just me?

getting bad frame rate in some places , like sometimes 40fps and 30fps, fun game very fun! pc specs: gtx 970 , i5 3570k , 12gb ram. settings are on default. Anyone else getting bad frame rate? thanks.

i would agree with you on this issue. my specs are even higher than yours.
I7 5960. 32 gigs of ram. two gtx 980 in sli format. but i have a 4k monitor using display port 1.2. my frame rates are constantly bouncing between 30 and 50 fps. this should not be happening as i have even more demanding games graphically speaking, i get frame rates at a fairly stable 90 fps.i would like to see a big improvement in this. as it does become evident in some of the table games that tend to stutter at times.

I've got only an average of 7 FPS sometimes goes up to 20 (very rare) and sometimes down to 1 FPS. I've turned all settings down to minimum quality. I play on a laptop: Asus F553M CPU: Intel Bay Trail M Dual-Core 2840 up to 2.58GHz; Memory 4GB. I know i can't expect much with this equipment...

Had bad framerates after I first logged in yesterday (10-20 frames max), couldn't figure out what was going on so I've set my settings to fastest and then increased it all the way back up again and now it's fine.
Sometimes I get a spike here and there but it's alright for the most part.
Hardware:
I5 4690K (still factory clock though)
MSI Gtx 750 TI
Installed on a samsung evo SSD.

Try playing with the advanced settings, especially textures, lights and shadows. Set them to minimum and bump them up one at a time, see if there's one that's causing you the most grief. Some of those can really make the engine grind.

I've just gotten this on my PS4, but I turned off the bloom option on my PS4 and the lag ceased drastically after turning it off. Maybe I should turn off particles and see how it runs. So it's not just PC that has this problem.

This game is a major resource hog, especially on the CPU/GPU. I notice my primary GPU (I have dual GTX 780M's in SLI) running around 70 degrees C causing the fan to run almost constantly (I have an Alienware laptop and they tend to run a little hotter than others anyway). Other games I have don't do that nearly as often. Running an i7 2920XM CPU overclocked to 3.5 GHz with 16 gb ram, and they seem to run fine without anything pushing them to their limits (CPU temps stay around 60-65 degrees C but the fan does kick in more often than in other games). I do manage decent frame rates (60+ fps) but there is the occasional stutter at blackjack, which could be caused by internet latency as much as anything else.

It seems kind of silly and I have wondered about this for some time.
When I am playing in the casino my fans are cycling constantly but when I play other games that are worlds more complex and tons more graphicaly pleasing and complex the fans never even come on .. .. it seems kooky considerin the tiny amount of stuff going on in the casino and how primitive everything appears compaired..

So just what is the cause of the huge demand? and how do other games that have many hundreds or even thousands of times more complexity with things going on and appearance able to do this?

Unlike any other game I own, this game is almost unplayable due to the stuttering if my laptop is running on battery. Not a big problem b/c connecting the device to the AC outlet will fix this.
