Craps
Out of all the games, my lowest level is in craps. Craps is pretty confusing but I've done a lot of reading and determined the optimal bet is "do not pass." Is craps a good way to get RP? I know every game has a house edge, but what is the house edge of craps compared to other games?

I am confused about the come/don't come. I understand the odds are supposed to be "fair" for these bets meaning no house edge. When I bet "don't pass," am I supposed to bet come or don't come? I don't understand the difference between the two honestly!

Don't pass means you'll get a seven before the set point assuming a seven isn't rolled on the come out roll. What then does don't come mean? Thanks to anyone who can clarify.

Also what is the optimal betting strategy and bet distribution for craps? Assume I am looking to grind, tier up, and make as much RP as possible. Thank you!

I dont get that game at all but the link that David was so kind to share in another thread might be helpfull to you:

The Pass and the Come are pretty much the same bet. They are just made at different times. Pass line bets are made on the come out roll, 7 and 11 are winners, 2 3 and 12 are losers. Come bets are made after the point has been established.

Here is a link to show what the best bets in craps are:

I wouldn't suggest getting impatient and trying to win RP faster by betting the single roll bets like snake eyes and box cars. I've seen people brag in VIP how they've won millions of chips wagering max bet on 2 and/or 12. It's a 36-1 shot, and the casino pays 31-1, bringing the house edge to roughly around 15%. Everything in the middle are sucker bets: the hardways, any craps. Stay away from them.

Very helpful! What's the cap on taking and laying odds? I think the cap is 2x but just want to make sure. If that's the case you'd want to bet 6500 and then lay odds of 13000, right?

Does anyone know how much odds you can lay? Is it 2x, 4x, 5x, or what?

it is 3x-4x-5x depends on point

jolobolo is correct. For non VIP I'll typically go 500-1000 on the pass-line and the rest of my bet on odds. For VIP I guess that'd be 2500-5000 on the pass-line with the rest on odds.
In 4 Kings, the max free odds is dependent on the point. For 4 and 10, I believe you can back your original pass line bet 3x. So if you bet 1000 on the pass line, you can back that bet up to 3000.

If the point is 5 or 9, it can be backed up to 4x odds. And if the point is 6 or 8, it can be backed up to 5x odds.
